This is my honest diary of my new journey to being healthier, feeling better and having an abundance of energy. 


After what feels like an aeon of suffering from horrifically low energy, brain fog and terrible inflammation, I've finally decided to bite the bullet (while drinking my bullet-proof coffee) and cut down the carbs.

Let me be honest, I am a carb lover and a foodie. I make my own organic, homemade pizzas, pasta, scones, and I was hoping to make my own croissants soon.

However, after nights of going to sleep with my hips and knees inflamed and generally feeling terrible, I decided that enough was enough.

I grew tired of working against myself. I'm a busy mother of a very active 3-year-old, breastfeeding a 4 month old and caring for my house and family all while studying remotely. I needed to fuel my body properly to do my job well.
